Do not visit any suspicious or dangerous area, and keep away from isolated and dark areas.
The Embassy strongly advise all citizens to keep their passports with them and do not lodge them with anyone at any time, because these are official documents.
In the event of any problem - God forbid – you should inform the nearest police station and the nearest diplomatic mission of the State of Qatar on the problem.
Demand to contact Qatari mission immediately if you were detained or investigated with in any case.
Keep your Passport and ID card numbers (or copies of them) for reference in case of passport loss.
Do not allow the security services in the host country to search your accommodation without a search warrant from the competent authority.
