Services for Citizens

Consulate services

Authorizations & Certificate to whom it may concern:

  • Submit an application
  • ID card or passport of the applicant
  • Fees: 5€

* Requires the presence of the applicant to sign the forms before the consulate officer.
 

A pass ticket valid for one travel to Qatar:

  • Two photos 2" x 2".
  • ID card or Passport
  • Identity card or passport of the father with the birth certificate (for newborns)
  • Fees: 13€.

* The consulate section must request an approval from the Ministry of Interior with the reasons for residence outside the State of Qatar.
* Please note that the Pass Ticket is only valid for three months from the date of issue.

2- Education services:

  1. Legalization of School certificate or University degree by the Consulate of the State of Qatar to Belgium and Luxembourg

1- For Qatari students studying abroad at their own expense or at the expense of their work and non-Qatari students who want to go to Doha for work, the required documents are the following:

- School certificate or university degree,

-  Original transcription of the final scores,

- Education records (information regarding the degree– see below p.2).

  • These three documents have to be issued from Belgium or Luxembourg and be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • In case you don’t have the university degree while introducing the legalization request, please provide us with the education records and the original sheet of the final scores.

2- For Qatari students receiving scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education the required document :

  • University degree.

 What are the required information about the degree?

 - A proof of the authenticity of the degree details,

- the educational system and the attendance (enrolment- partial enrolment - distance learning ...)

- the headquarter and the tests,

- the degree obtained by the student (Diploma-Bachelor-Master-Doctorate) ,

- the determined academic program length to obtain this degree,

- the actual length the student has spent to get the degree (start and end dates),

- the type of the academic institution : private or public,

- An academic accreditation of the educational institution by the official competent academic accreditation authorities based in Belgium or Luxembourg during the study period.

  

3- Healthcare services: through the medical attaché of the Embassy of the state of Qatar to Germany.

Services for Visitors:

1-Visas:

Tourist visa, Business visa and entry visa for GCC residents will be issued immediately upon arrival to the citizens of 33 countries in the world:
United States, Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Spain, Monaco, Vatican, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
Visitors of  other nationalities must apply for an Entry visa prior to their arrival.

General information

1-Visa issuance will take at least one week from the date of application submission ( please don’t send the required documents through mail)
2-Consulate working hours : 9:00am – 12:00Pm, Monday to Friday.
3- Payment Method: All Consular fees must be paid at the Consular Section of the Embassy via Bancontact only and will no longer be paid through the Bank or Home Banking. 
4- Visa is granted free of charge for diplomatic passports.
5- Each application must be paid by a non-refundable Application processing fee at the Embassy by Bancontact card (no cash or Bank Transfers). One payment is required per application, please do not include one payment for 2 or more applications. Fees are charged per Passport and must be withdrawn in Euro currency.
6- All Military personnel, Diplomatic, or Official passport holders applying for a Visa must submit 2 copies of an official request from the concerned government authorities. Another letter is required from the company where the applicant will work for during his/her trip (i.e. subcontractors for Government projects).

Application attachments:

1- Passport (valid at least for 6 months).

2- A copy of the passport.

3- (2) colour personal photographs of the applicant.

4- An official note requesting the issue of visa.

5- An invitation.

6- A copy of the residence card in Belgium.

7- The fixed fees are not refundable

* The above Visas, except the transit visa, allow their holders to enter the country for one month.

  • Note : Travel document - holders accompanying official delegations shall be accepted only. Holders of this type of travel documents are required to coordinate with a company, their relatives or acquaintances in the State of Qatar to ensure obtaining the needed visas for them.

 

Legalization


Legalization of commercial and legal documents:

GENERAL INFORMATION

1- The legalization of legal and commercial documents takes up to FIVE business days from the day of receipt.
 
2- The Consulate Office hours are from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.

3- Payment Procedure: all consular fees must be paid at the Consular Section of the Embassy viaBancontact only and will no longer be paid through the Bank of Home Banking.  

4- Legalization fees of a copy of document as the original document.

5- The fees paid are not refundable.

6- We do not receive documents through  mail.

7- The fees required for legalization of documents are calculated by the consular section of the embassy.

Legalization of commercial documents:

  • 1- The Certificate of Origin must be signed by the (Owner/Agent) to indicate the data are correct and valid.

    2- The Certificate must be signed by the Arabian Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg to indicate the data are correct and valid  be sealed by the Chamber of Commerce seal.

Legalization of legal documents:

  • Must be Authenticated by Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Office.
