I am a resident in Belgium, my nationality is not among the 33 countries listed on your website, and I have connection flight at Doha international airport, do I need a visa to get out of the airport ?

Yes, need a visa from the Embassy of the State of Qatar if you want to get out of the airport, if you want to remain in the transit area, you do not need a visa.  

I am a Belgian citizen and my wife has the nationality of another country, can we travel to the State of Qatar on a vacation ?

 For you, you need to get a visa from the Embassy of the State of Qatar or immediately upon your arrival at the airport. As for your wife, depending on her nationality, she might be required to have a visa, please refer to the visa section in this website.

You must bring all papers (Education certificates, marriage certificate, a certificate proving that you hadn't been condemned before, other papers if requested) attested from the Belgian Foreign Ministry first and then attested from the Embassy, for more information please contact the consular section of the Embassy. 

What is the minimum validity duration of passport to travel to the State of Qatar ?

Six months after the end of the period of your stay.  If you have a residence permit, the passport must be valid for at least three months to travel within and outside the country.

Is it safe for women to travel to the State of Qatar ?

Yes. The State of Qatar is one of the safest countries in the world. 

What is the most appropriate outfit in public places in the State of Qatar ?

Should follow the rules of modest dress in public places.  

I have Belgian driving license, can I drive in the State of Qatar ?

Belgian driving license holders can drive rented cars only.

Is health care free for foreigners in the State of Qatar ?

No, if you need medical treatment, you or your insurance company should cover the costs.

I am a Belgian citizen and i want to work in the State of Qatar or i have received a contract, should I apply at the Embassy to get a visa for me and my family ?

The company that sent you the contract should arrange the visa (for you and your family members).

I am Belgian citizen and I want to continue my study or study Arabic language in the State of Qatar, can the Embassy issue a visa for my stay ?

No, you should contact the College or school that you plan to study at, they can arrange the visa after approval.
