A folkloric group from the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of the State of Qatar participated in the annual celebration of Europe Day.

The group performed popular folklore, including "Al Arda" dance and other traditional arts.

H.E Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium  and Head of Mission to the European Union, attended the celebration along with a number of

EU parliamentarians, Belgian officials and a large Arab crowd.

Held in Belgium for the first time, attendees largely praised the ceremony, which took place at Brussels' City Grand Hall.

The Qatari group toured La Grand Place, the central square of Brussels, after the ceremony.
