HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the State of Qatar Delegation to the European Union and NATO Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.

The function was attended by a number of senior officials and heads of accredited Arab and foreign diplomatic missions, as well as a number of public figures.

In his speech during the ceremony, HE the Ambassador stressed that National Day is gaining special momentum this year with the siege of Qatar, which makes the National Day this year more unique than previous years.

"Since the month of June, the State of Qatar has achieved many major successes at the national and international levels," His Excellency said, adding that the siege has brought to the surface the foundations and standards on which international relations are based.
