High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini met Saturday with HE Qatar's Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani at the European Union External Action Service headquarters in Brussels.

During the meeting, they reviewed means of enhancing relations between the State of Qatar and the European Union and aspects of cooperation between the European institutions and Qatar.

They also discussed the situation in Libya and other issues of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Kingdom of Belgium and Head of Qatar's Mission to the European Union Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani and the delegation accompanying HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation Affairs.
