His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Head of Mission to the European Union met with His Excellency Mr. / Matthias Burchard, Director of the UNRWA representative office to the European Union, at the embassy in Brussels.

During the meeting, they discussed the issue of the Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Belgium and the European Union, within the framework of cooperation between the State of Qatar and UNRWA.

H.E Matthias Burchard expressed on behalf of the UNRWA his deepest thanks to the State of Qatar for its support to UNRWA, which helped to ensure educational opportunities to a considerable number of Palestinian refugees students which represent great importance to them and to their future.
