He Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, met HE Ms. Michele Alliot-Marie, President of the Delegation for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula in the European Parliament, in Brussels today.

The meeting discussed the current situation in the region, and the importance of strengthening security in the Persian Gulf, as well as issues of common interest and regional and international issues.

H.E Minister of Foreign Affairs  thanked the European Parliament for their support of the State of Qatar.

Meanwhile, HE the president of the Delegation for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula in the European Parliament praised  the role of the State of Qatar in achieving international peace and security and continuous cooperation with the EU to resolve the Middle East issues.
