HE Head of Qatar's Mission to the European Union in Brussels Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani held the first meeting of the Qatar-EU Friendship Group at the European Parliament in 2015. At the outset of the meeting, HE the Ambassador extended thanks to Tokia Saifi for the efforts she has exerted since she chaired the Qatar-EU Friendship Group, inaugurated in 2012. 

HE the Ambassador wished the new head of the association, Ramona Nicole Manescu, success in her new duties and the Qatari-European relations further development and growth. 

Talks during the meeting, which was attended by new members in the association, tackled latest Arab and regional developments, as well as other topics of joint interest. (QNA)
