Advisor to HE Minister of Interior HE Major General Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal who is also Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Thirteenth United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (Doha 2015), and his accompanying delegation met here today with senior officials in the European Union headquarters, headed by Ms. Mara Marinaki, the Managing Director for Global & Multilateral Issues at the European External Action Service.

Discussions during the meeting dealt with the ongoing preparations for the Congress scheduled for next April.

The talks focused on Qatar logistics preparations for hosting the Congress . They also reviewed the European Union's position towards the issues on the agenda of the Congress and topics related to crime prevention and criminal justice .
