H.E / Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium, organized a dinner in honor of the Qatari diplomats during their recent visit to Brussels. A group of senior officials, permanent representatives and directors in NATO took part to the reception.

The visit of the delegation of Qatari diplomats to the NATO headquarters in Brussels comes within the efforts made by the Embassy for strengthening the relations between the State of Qatar and NATO and other international institutions. This visit aimed also the sharing of expertise with the young Qatari diplomats.

The visit included a series of seminars and round tables giving the opportunity to discuss a number of issues among them the important transformations taking place in NATO and many other topics presented by directors of departments and Permanent Representatives of NATO Member States. Enhancing cooperation between the State of Qatar and NATO and the programs within the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative and the partnership program were also discussed.
