Head of Qatar's Mission to the European Union H.E Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani met Monday with Head of the Qatar-EU Friendship Group at the European Parliament Tokia Saifi. The meeting came in preparation for a visit that a delegation from the Qatar-EU Friendship Group will make to Doha on Friday for a whole week.

The association was launched last year with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah attending the launch. Some 30 deputies representing the majority of European countries are members in the association. The association was the first of its kind for GCC countries, with the State of Qatar taking the lead in cementing its relation with European countries.
