HE Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the Delegation of the State of Qatar to the European Union, met with HE Mr. Antonio Taghani, President of the European Parliament, under the chairmanship of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

HE also met with Mr. David McAllister, Chairman of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee, Mr. Christian Breda, Vice-Chairman of the Sub-Commission on Human Rights and member of the European Parliament of the European People's Party.

During the meetings, they discussed the relations between the State of Qatar and the European Union, the official positions of the State of Qatar and its efforts to support and enhance cooperation with the European Union and its various committees, as well as the current challenges facing the Gulf region and the Middle East.
