Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium Stresses Qatar's Commitment to Peace and Stability Regionally and Internationally

HE Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium and Head of Qatari Missions to EU and NATO Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi stressed Thursday the State of Qatar's firm position in support of peace and stability regionally and internationally. His Excellency also stressed on Qatar's dedication to establishing relations based on mutual respect and cooperation with its neighboring countries and all countries worldwide.

His Excellency was giving a speech during a seminar at the European Platform for Middle-East Dialogue in Brussels. During the speech, the Ambassador gave an outline of one of the deepest and most complicated crises that ever hit the GCC since its establishment.

His Excellency said that the State of Qatar and its people, despite the suffering they were subjected to at the hands of their neighbors and brothers, remained committed to their religious heritage and moral values and were not dragged into the wave of false accusations propagated by the siege countries.

HE Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi touched on the efforts of Kuwaiti mediation in resolving the GCC crisis, and the warning from HH the Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah in the speech he made to Kuwait's National Assembly of a potential escalation from siege countries that could have regional and international repercussions that harm all GCC people.

The seminar was attended by Chair of the MOG (Middle East/Gulf) Working Group of the European External Action Service Roberto Storaci and Head of Division of the Arabian Peninsula, Iran and Iraq at the European External Action Service Rosamaria Gili as well as members of the European External Action service.
