His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs met with HE Mr. Tariq Shah Bahrami, Afghan Minister of Defense in the Belgian capital Brussels.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to achieve peace and reconciliation that will lead to stability and sustainable development in the brotherly Republic of Afghanistan.

The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Head of Mission of the State of Qatar to the European Union and NATO, Brigadier General Abdul Hadi bin Mubarak Al Hajri, Qatari Military Attaché to Belgium and NATO and senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces.
