His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs met with HE Mrs. Elisabetta Trenta, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Italy in the Belgian capital Brussels.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral issues of common interest between the two friendly countries in the defense and military fields and means of enhancing and developing them.

The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Head of Mission of the State of Qatar to the European Union and NATO, Brigadier General Abdul Hadi bin Mubarak Al Hajri, Qatari Military Attaché to Belgium and NATO and senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces.
