H.E. Mr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and head of missions to the European Union and NATO, announced the establishment of the parliamentary group for Qatari-Belgian friendship with the participation of H.E. Mr. Alain Destexhe, chairman of the Qatari-Belgian friendship Group in Belgian Parliament.

The meeting was attended by  H.E  Mr. Pol Van Den Driessche,  Senator and member of the friendship group, H.E. Mr. David Clairnval, member of the Friendship Group, Deputy to the House of Representatives, H.E. Ms. Brigitte Grouwels Vice-President and H.E. Mr. Veli Yüksel, Deputy Flemish member of the Christian Democratic Party.

On this occasion, the Ambassador hosted a working luncheon at the embassy building, where they discussed several topics related to the relations between the State of Qatar and the Belgian Parliament and ways of developing them, and addressed the next meeting of the international Parliament Union, which will be hosted by Doha as well as the topics of common interest.
