The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Delegate of the State of Qatar to the European Union met with HE Mrs. Michel Aliot Marie, Chairperson of the Committee of the Arabian Peninsula in the European Parliament.

H.E Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, presented today March 15th copies of his letters of credentials as Head of Mission of the State of Qatar to the European Union to H.E Mr. Nicolas de La Grandville, head of protocol of the European commission.

EU advisor, Alexis Konstantopoulos, has praised the efforts of Qatar in amending laws and legislations and the great progress the country has made in the protection of human rights, commending the endeavors of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) in enhancing and spreading these rights.

H.E Ambassador Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, visited the VUB University in Brussels today and met with the Department of the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, to discuss cooperation opportunities with them in the field of student exchange programs.

His Majesty King Philippe received today at the Royal Palace, HE Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, who presented his letters of credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium.
