H.E Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the State’s Missions to the European Union and NATO met today with H.E Mr. Pascal Heyman, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to NATO.

H.E Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of Qaytar’s Missions to the European Union and NATO met with H.E Mr. Francesco Talò, the Italian Ambassador to NATO.

The State of Qatar took part in the 2020 Annual NATO Conference on Weapons of Mass Destruction, Arms Control, Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, held virtually on Tuesday.

HE European Union Counter-terrorism Coordinator Gilles de Kerchove met with HE Head of Mission of the State of Qatar to the European Union Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi.

Upon the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani announced a new pledge of the State of Qatar to provide USD 100 million to alleviate the human suffering of by the Syrian people.

The State of Qatar participated in the "Supporting Syrian Resilience: From Life-Saving to Life-Sustaining" meeting, which was organized by the Middle East and North Africa Division at the UK Department for International Development.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani reiterated Qatar's call to all countries in the Middle East to conclude a binding security agreement, specifying the conditions for its success to be "collective and binding; based on agreed principles of security, developed with rules of governance, dispute resolution, and accountability; respectful of sovereignty and equality among its members; a commitment to non-interference in internal affairs."
