HE Mr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and head of its mission to NATO, met with officials from the NATO Middle East and North Africa Department, headed by HE Nicolas de Santis, Director of the Middle East and North Africa Division.

The third meeting of the Individual Partnership and Cooperation Program between the State of Qatar and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) started on Monday at the NATO's headquarters in Brussels.

The State of Qatar has invited the international community to join forces to find radical solutions to the crisis in Somalia so that it can maintain its sovereignty and achieve national reconciliation, noting the efforts and concrete steps taken by Somalia at all levels for the benefit of the Somali people.

The State of Qatar has participated in a “resolute support” meeting of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (Nato) summit, which was held in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

The State of Qatar renewed Monday commitment to the fight against terrorism, calling for doing so through prevention and treatment. Ambassador to Belgium and Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the European Union & NATO Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi made that statement in a NATO meeting that included GCC ambassadors as well as NATO ambassadors.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that differences must be resolved through dialogue, not the blockade, calling for a regional security partnership between all countries in the Middle East.
