The Embassy of the State of in Brussels, held a sports day on the occasion of Qatar's National Sport Day. H.E. Ambassador Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Alkhulaifi, the embassy's diplomats and staff have joined in sports activities.

H.E Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and head of the State of Qatar's mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization met with His Excellency Sheikh Fawaz Mishal Al-Sabah, Head of Security Information and Surveillance at the NATO Regional Center and the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, and Ambassador Alejandro Alvargonzález, Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy in NATO

The State of Qatar will participate in the fourth meeting of the Consultative Political Group of NATO's Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI), due to open today - Monday - at NATO-Kuwait ICI Regional Center.

His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg received today, at the Palace, H.E Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, who presented his letters of credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (Non Resident) of the State of Qatar to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

HE the Chief of Protocol in the Duchy of Luxembourg Paul Schmit received a copy of the credentials of HE Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, as (nor-resident) Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Duchy of Luxembourg.

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the State of Qatar Delegation to the European Union and NATO Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and Permanent Representative to the European Union and the NATO Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi underlined that the fight against terrorism is a high priority for the State of Qatar, which has issued a strict set of laws to prohibit the financing of terrorism, in addition to signing several international conventions and memoranda of understanding on combating terrorism, most recently the memorandum of understanding signed with the United States of America.

H.E Ambassador Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium, the European Union and the head of its mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), met with H.E Dr. Stephane Mund, Advisor of the Belgian Prime Minister on the International Affairs, at the Belgian Council of Ministers in Brussels.

The State of Qatar participated in the second meeting of defense ministers of the participating countries in Operation Resolute Support in Afghanistan. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the city of Brussels in Belgium.

HE Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium and Head of Qatari Missions to EU and NATO Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi stressed Thursday the State of Qatar's firm position in support of peace and stability regionally and internationally. His Excellency also stressed on Qatar's dedication to establishing relations based on mutual respect and cooperation with its neighboring countries and all countries worldwide.
