Qatar's Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani met today with NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Ambassador Thrasyvoulos Terry Stamatopoulos.

H.E Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium, hosted an iftar at his residence, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The State of Qatar has participated in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) conference on Disarmament and Non-proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in 2014 ,which was held in Interlaken city, Switzerland on June 23 -24.

HE Qatar’s Ambassador to Belgium, Sheikh Ali Bin Jassim Al Thani met at the Qatar embassy premises in Brussels on Wednesday Pierre Krähenbühl, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and handed him Qatar’s cheque of $ 100,000.

Mayor of the City of Brussels Yvan Mayeur met here Saturday with HE Dr. Hamad Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage.
